Hello friends & family, I'm at it again! I should say "we", as I have a partner in crime this time!
A little over a year ago when my brother got engaged to the wonderful Kelly, I promised that when I returned from Korea that I would stay in the country until after the wedding so that I would be around for all of the festivities. That, of course, meant staying in the country for over a year...
And I AM keeping my promise to be around for all of the festivities. I even ordered my bridesmaid dress and booked my flight for the bachelorette party already! I have the bridal shower date marked in my planner. But...it's the slow season at work and I have all this free time. What's a girl to do? Most of you already know the answer to that. I'm heading to Honduras, Guatemala, and Belize!
This was actually supposed to be a longer trip. I wanted to leave right after Christmas and return in March. However, a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the marriage of two dear friends from Peru arose and I just couldn't turn it down. So, after their wedding weekend in California, I'll fly to Honduras to meet up with my travel buddy, Kasey, who is already backpacking her way through Central America as I write this.
I'll be using this new blog to post about our trip---the good, the bad, and the ugly! Hopefully, I can find WiFi good enough to even post some pictures.
Ta-ta for now! See you in the land of rice & beans.
